Description
This exquisite carpet features a vibrant blue field under a canopy of a tall, broad palm tree, hinting at the outline of the Tablets of the Law. The main panel depicts intertwining flora and fauna, including deer, antelope, ibex, peacock, crane, and turtledove amidst vines and flowers. The main border displays peacocks, fountains, and bunches of grapes, with Hebrew inscription of the Song of Songs.
