Shop Mezuzahs

A mezuzah is a sacred Jewish object that is placed on the door of a home; the word means doorpost in Hebrew. It is meant to bless and sanctify a living space. Mezuzahs have been a part of Jewish tradition for thousands of years. Jewish people would write or etch prayers onto the doorposts of their homes. 

Each mezuzah contains a rolled-up scroll of parchment which contains two sacred prayers of Judaism. At Forgotten Judaica, we have a range of mezuzahs for doors that are made into the object of a branch, fish, squirrel, lion, dove, ram, sheath of wheat, and wolf.
