Abraham’s Ram Besamim Spice Box in Bronze
$420.00
Description
Our Besamin Spice Boxes are meant to symbolize the story of Abraham’s Ram. When Abraham takes his son Issac to the top of the mountain to sacrifice him to God, he is stopped by an angel. God then promises Abraham he will reward Abraham with a lamb to sacrifice, but instead offers him a ram. The bronze spice box represents the great sacrifice of Abraham, his ultimate act of faith, and God’s mercy.
This treasure was created by artist Richard Wessner and includes a compartment beneath the tail on the ram’s back, perfect for storing spices. When you lift the tail on the Ram’s back, you’ll find a compartment beneath that’s perfect for storing spices. It is also offered in sterling silver.
All items are enclosed in 100% boiled wool keeps. A gift box with a sterling silver Forgotten Judaica button and card are included.
